If you are calling a cold lead from a business for example, take a moment to look at the company’s page. You don’t need to spend time learning about their business per se, but if you know something about the business that is great. If you don’t look at where they are… there is a lot of connection to be made through geography. If you know the city where they live that’s great, if you don’t perhaps you have a relative living near by or it is somewhere you’ve always wanted to visit, or perhaps you heard about a big storm there.. These are all simple and easy ways to connect… Even a sports team is a good way to start.

Sometimes your lead generation efforts will only result in your getting an email address. Chances are if you simply email that person, you will end up in their spam box, so try using social media. Look up the lead’s email address on Facebook.
Use the search function on Facebook and see if you can find the person. Then send them a message That mentions that you saw they stopped by your web site, let them know that you can help them set up some great streams of passive residual income and make sure that it is a friend invite and not just a message.
Use your tracking information to see which site they came to. If they opted into a Facebook training page or a Twitter training page, be sure to mention that too. The more targeted you are, the better your chances of building the rapport. Be sure to give them several ways to contact you as well. Such as your telephone number, skype number and email address.
Be mindful of the Facebook rules. Never add more than 20 people in one day and always space out your friend request throughout the day. When you are honing in on network marketing recruiting, Facebook is a great tool to use.

Another way that I have success with tracking down a lead that has opted into my site it via Skype. Skype is growing exponentially and I have people requesting to be added to my contacts on nearly a daily basis. It is becoming a growing networking tool. Once again if someone opts into your site and you cannot find them via their email address on Facebook, see if they are on skype.
Always start with a message that indicates that you have a connection. For example:
Hi Joe, I see that you visited one of my sites. I love connecting with like minded people, let’s connect.
These steps only take a few minutes, but they can make a world of difference in how your network marketing recruiting goes. This is still and always will be a people business and every small detail to connect with your prospect on a human level is key.
Network Marketing Recruiting with the Telephone
It is important to have a set up for your calls. This means that if the kids are playing in the background, if the television is on or your are shouting into your speaker in the car… then you have not set yourself up for success. Put yourself in a quiet room and focus on the call. I like to take notes in the computer so I tell the person who I am talking to that I will be taking notes. I usually say that I want to make sure that I understand everything that they need so allow me to take some notes so I can provide them with the best info.
Always ask a lot of questions and listen very carefully to the answers. This will be how you best formulate your limited responses. Be sure to repeat back what people say- for clarity and to show you are listening.
For example,I often say, So, what you are saying Joe, is that you are not afraid of learning new things and hard work, if it means that you will have more freedom with your time?
And then stop and listen.
Network marketing recruiting is a learned skill. We all need to practice talking to people and more importantly listening to people. With practice and care, you will get better and better and increase your conversions.
