CPA Marketing
So are you skeptical about your ability to amass a fortune by prompting an ebook? Well, I think you have every right to be. Let’s just look at the math:
If you sold one book a day at $50 that would make you $18,000/year. Now don’t get me wrong. If I could do that, I would be happy, but if this is your only source of income, you might be in bad shape… and what if that money isn’t consistent. Maybe your how-to ebook is on fishing and sells 2 a day in the summer and nothing between November and March. This isn’t a bad idea (a little easier said than done) but how much easier do you think it would be to “sell” something for FREE. That is where CPA offers come in.
CPA Networks host offers and help the affiliates drive traffic to the offers and they take a percentage of commission earned. CPA networks are companies that go between you as the publisher/affiliate (you create the publicity) and the advertisers (they have a marketing use for the information you help them gather. Very often CPA products request information like your zip code or email address or they set up continuation programs where the buyer might get the first bottle of shampoo for free but will have to opt-out to cease receiving more and they take the credit card information up front.
Other CPA offers require one purchase of a product but offer a big extra. For example:
This is a product that I am currently promoting. If you make the initial purchase, you will get 2 free bottles.
How did I pick this one? I believe that heath care items are what are known as evergreen industries. No matter what is going on with someone’s personal finances, if possible, they will spend money on health care. They may skip the Porsche for now, but they are most likely willing to spend $30 on vitamins,or a cream to make them look better. It seems to be more palatable when things are tough. In particular with this CPA network, every offer I have ever seen in their network offers free bottles of their products.
For example, here is a CPA network that I use:
The CPA network will send you one check for all of the offers you promote which can simplify your book keeping.
CPA Networks provide affiliates with marketing tools too; such as banner ads, emails and text. These can be a good starting point, but most research has shown that you are better off creating your own banners and advertising rather than depending their marketing materials alone. Now you have it, this is exactly what CPA networks are.
